Minnesota Resuscitation Solutions (MRS) is developing a
revolutionary method and associated product systems to deliver “Head Up”
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (Head-Up CPR) to victims of sudden cardiac
arrest. ProSavant’s Faris co-founded MRS with the physician Founder of
Advanced Circulatory Systems. ProSavant team members provide CEO
leadership for all functions (except pre-clinical and clinical research)
including attaining FDA regulatory clearance for MRS’ initial product;
managing prosecution of US and OUS Intellectual Property; managing product
development of the company’s first product system; providing financial
planning, management, fund raising, accounting and administrative
services; and providing RA/QA services.
As CEO of Vidacare, Faris successfully developed the company and commercialized its patented
intraosseous technology platform globally. Under his leadership, Vidacare’s sales grew from $30K
per month to over $40MM run rate, with market adoption in over 70% of EMS services and ~50% of
hospitals in US, and international adoption in over 50 markets. Today, Vidacare’s primary product
is the market leader in each of its geographic markets. In addition, Faris led the company’s
technology platform expansion into additional large opportunity applications in cancer and IR markets.
The company was acquired by Teleflex Inc. in December 2013 in a deal valued at $290 million.
